Q:  What is the difference between the Äpsylon downloads and those offered by other providers such as iTunes?
A:  Our files are Digital Rights Management free and are therefore compatible with most digital devices, playable on most audio programs, and can be burned to CD. Our MP3 files use higher, 320Kb/s encoding and therefore provide a better quality listening experience.

Q:  Can I buy individual tracks from Äpsylon's album?
A:  No. The Äpsylon audio files are offered as a full album download. This process enables the band to donate part of the proceeds from each album sale to the National Domestic Violence Hotline and loveisrespect, National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline.

Q:  Is Äpsylon's music available on iTunes or from similar music download services?
A:  At this time Äpsylon's music is exclusively available on apsylon.com. By purchasing directly from the band, you are not only supporting the artist, but independent music in general. In addition to this, offering our music directly to our listeners enables us to provide donations from each album sale to the National Domestic Violence Hotline and loveisrespect, National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline.

Q:  In what file format are the downloads available?
A:  We offer high quality, 320Kb/s encoded MP3 file format.

Q:  Can I transfer the downloaded songs to my iPod or other type of portable music player?
A:  Yes. Songs can be transferred to any type of portable player that plays MP3 files.

Q:  Can I burn a CD of downloaded songs?
A:  Yes. Our files are Digital Rights Management free, and therefore can be burned to CD. Album artwork is also included with each download.

Q:  How do I access my Digital Download?
A:  After your purchase is complete, you will receive an email confirmation with a download link at the email address you provided. From there you will be able to download the songs. For this reason, please make sure you provide us with a valid email address.

Q:  How do I download the album I have purchased?
A:  Follow the download link provided in the email confirmation. From there, you will see a page on which each track on the album is presented as an individual link for downloading. You will need to click on "Download" next to each track and save the files on your computer.

Q:  In what format will the files be saved when the download is complete?
A:  All audio files are in MP3 format. The included artwork file is in PDF format. There is also a Readme file in PDF format.

Q:  Can I purchase the music for a friend?
A:  Yes. During the purchase process, on the album order form, type in the email address that you would like the download link to go to (friend's email). After clicking "checkout", you can pay with your own information. A receipt will be emailed to you, but a download link will be emailed to your friend.

Q:  May I share the downloaded music with others?
A:  By purchasing the music of Äpsylon directly from the band, you are truly supporting the artist. In addition to this, because of the donations each album sale provides to the National Domestic Violence Hotline and loveisrespect, National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline, you are making a difference in the life of someone in need. We ask that you share the music with everyone by directing them to www.apsylon.com, where they will find song samples and the option to purchase. Making copies of the music not only hurts the artist but it also takes away the help Äpsylon is providing by its donations. Thank you for your support!

Q:  When does the Digital Download link expire?
A:  The purchaser has 30 days to download the songs from the link provided with each payment receipt. Please make sure you complete all downloads within 30 days.
